Do you know what is inside your computer? Maybe you glanced when the service technician settled something for you. When you open the CPU for the first time and look inside, a computer is a very threatening machine. But once you know the different parts that make up a full computer, it is much easier. Today’s computers consist of about eight main components; Some of the advanced computers could have some additional components. What are these eight main components and what are they used? We will start with beginner level details to help you get started.

First of all is the power supply. The power supply is used to provide electricity to all components of your computer. It’s usually a rectangular box and is usually positioned in one corner of the computer. To find it, look to see where the power cable plugs into the back of the computer and you have found the power supply. Most current power supplies are calculated in the power of power and are increments of 50 watts (500 watts, 550, 600, etc.

The second is the motherboard. All components are connected to the motherboard; This does not mean it’s the brain of the computer. Yes, he holds the brain and helps to act with all the other components of the machine.

The third and a very important component of a computer is the CPU (central processing unit), known as the brain of the computer and nothing will happen without it. All major calculations performed by a computer are performed inside its CPU. It is also responsible for the activation and control of operations of other system units. The more the CPU can do these calculations and give the correct answers, the more fast the computer for the user. Processors are now measured in Gigahertz (GHz) and are currently up to our 3.8 GHz or faster.

A fourth component is the RAM (random access memory). The RAM is used as a momentary work storage for the computer. We have different types of RAM memory with a different speed, but you have to match your motherboard so that it can work properly. The more RAM you have on your computer, the better your computer will work.

The fifth component is the hard drive. This is where you can store everything. Our hard disk material includes the operating system (Windows XP, etc.), games and different types of software, etc. During the year, the hard disk capacity improves and in the interval of a few years, its capacity is part. about 20 MB to more than 500 GB and more. You can therefore store much more information on your computer such as games, images, videos, apps, etc.

Sixth component are cooling fans. Often, most computers come with a cooling fan or more. Its help to cool the heat generated by other components, such as power, CPU and some high-end video cards. The work of all your cooling fans consists of taking out this heat from the business so nothing overheats and breaks. While most of the noise you intend to come from a computer can be credited with cooling fans, do not forget to be tolerant. The cooling fan is your friend!

Our seventh and final component are the mix of several different devices. These are CD-ROM, DVD, floppy disk drive and saving such as the external hard drive.
